t's slow build until April 25th. And a strange thing happened on our way to record Thursday morning. The news broke that the Oakland A’s are bracing for Oklahoma quarterback — and ninth overall pick in the MLB draft — Kyler Murray to declare for the 2019 NFL Draft. That news could be ... significant. Pretty much everyone (ourselves included) expected Murray to make a career out of MLB. Personally Connor Barwin Color Rush Jersey , Iexpected the NFL to tell Murray that he was too small to be a quarterback, that he should change position to slot receiver or be another Denard Robinson, and for him to ultimately pass on the NFL draft. That doesn’t appear to be the case. Adding to the intrigue is a video which surfaced of new Arizona Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury saying while at Texas Tech that if he had the first pick in the NFL draft, he would use it on Murray ... which he now does. So, with the Giants’ uncertainty at quarterback and the domino effect of adding another top prospect to the mix, we pretty much had to make this show about Murray and the (potential) impact of his decision. And make no mistake about it: The NFL is changing, and changing rapidly. Changed to the point where Murray isn’t just viewed around the league as a viable quarterback prospect Saquon Barkley Color Rush Jersey , but given his athleticism and incredible efficiency, he could be in the mix for a top 10 pick. EA Sports released the full list of ratings on Monday after providing us with a teaser of just rookies a few weeks back. Barkley gained a significant bump from his initial rating of 82 last year. For Madden 20, he’s sitting behind backs Todd Gurley (97), Ezekiel Elliot (94), Le’Veon Bell (92), and Melvin Gordon (92).However, Barkley is not the only notable Giant with an impressive rating in Madden 20. Also standing out are recently acquired right guard Kevin Zeitler (89), new wide receiver Golden Tate (85) Darian Thompson Color Rush Jersey , and tight end Evan Engram (84). Similar to Barkley, Zeitler also earned a top five mark at his position. All-Pro kicker Aldrick Rosas is the final Giants player that achieved the top at his position. As the third-best kicker in the game he holds an 84 overall rating.As a collective unit, the Giants did not fare so well. Defensively they tied with Miami Dolphins for the worst in the game with a concerning 72 overall. The Big Blue also sadly only amassed an overall team rating of 77. That is the second worst in Madden 20, just above the Dolphins.
